As people in the replies have said, what probably happened was that a ghostwriter was hired to write the book, and the ghostwriter asked a chatbot for things Erivo said about body image in interviews, and it grabbed something by Grande by mistake.
The fact that something this lazy, cynical, and obvious went through multiple levels of copy-editing and fact-checking, and ended up printed on the page is deeply hilarious.

and the part about being "under a Petri dish" since she was a teenager. Cynthia Erivo didn't make her acting debut until she was 23.

The 2024 interview is inaccurately labeled as, "Ariana Grande November 2024 (interview)". Actually, the interview was conducted in London with both Grande and Erivo sitting side by side. Although she's been cropped out of the video, Erivo is actually holding Grande's hand as Grande responds to the French media influencer's ("Sally") question.
I'd love to have Erivo's book in my hands to see all the text that comes before and after what is presented as a clip from Erivo's audio version of the book.
Just as Erivo's presence has been cropped out of the video, I'm wondering if any possible crediting of the text to Grande has also been cropped from the audio clip.
