^^^ Given the demand on the actors of just two acts, I can't see them effectively performing a third. (At least not the Marvin and Trina. I don't believe the other characters appear in IN TROUSERS.)
But as I said in the other thread, there might be a way to rotate the plays as if they were being performed in rep and still only do two per day. THAT I would like to see.

Lord, I adored these shows as separate one-acts at the tiny and intimate Playwrights Horizons - they were a brand new kind of musical theatre, I thought at the time.
Put together and presented in a too-large Broadway house just didn't do it for me. I can understand how those who didn't see the original versions might feel otherwise, but I still prefer them done individually.

Whizzer, Mendel and Jason don't physically appear in In Trousers (Whizzer is mentioned). However, the two lesbians from Falsettoland could play the teacher and the girlfriend in In Trousers. And Trina plays the unnamed wife.

Yes, Goth, but the question concerned wear and tear on actors in a single performance of all three acts.
If the doctor and the caterer double as the other two women in IN TROUSERS, they get an entire hour-and-a-half (including intermissions) before they are due back on stage for FALSETTOLAND.
It's Marvin and Trina who would have to do the entire three hours (and Trina carries a very heavy load in all three plays, since she sings as part of the trio of women in IN TROUSERS in addition to her character's songs).

Was watching Christian Borle on Show People, and the Paul Wontorek (sp?) mentioned that he's looking forward to seeing him in the show that he has coming up after he leaves Something rotten. During the interview, William Finn was mentioned multiple times by both men. Anyone else think Falsettos is his next project?
