I just heard from a very reliable source that the Weisslers will indeed be producin a Broadway revival and that it'll star Daphne Rubin-Vega as Phyllis and Sally, and she'll perform all numbers in Spanish. People during intermission will be complaining about her and she'll be replaced by Lea Salonga. This comes after the acclaim that the Hebrew and French versions received, couldn't leave us Hispanics out of the game.

Posted: 2/14/07 at 5:42pmMs.Swit was the Weissler's first choice but they had a fall-out because she wasn't getting paid as much as Bernadette Peters so she was replaced with Ashley Simpson.
