OK, this is all hush hush but I had to tell you guys. I just heard from a very reliable source that the Weisslers will indeed be producin a Broadway revival and that it'll star Daphne Rubin-Vega as Phyllis and Sally, and she'll perform all numbers in Spanish. People during intermission will be complaining about her and she'll be replaced by Lea Salonga. This comes after the acclaim that the Hebrew and French versions received, couldn't leave us Hispanics out of the game.

I just got off the phone with my people, and I heard from a very reliable source that William Shatner has commissioned the show to be translated into Esperanto.

And THAT is the production that will be opening at the St.James produced by the Weisslers starring Huey Lewis as Ben, Tony Danza as Buddy, Ashley Simpson as Sally and Linda "Wonder Woman" Blair as Phyllis.

Ms.Swit was the Weissler's first choice but they had a fall-out because she wasn't getting paid as much as Bernadette Peters so she was replaced with Ashley Simpson.
