My friends seen the show on Sunday night and they had to use those crazy earphones so they could have a simultaneous translation into Hebrew.
They loved it.
I plotzed!

They should have just waited until tonight's performance, which is going to be done in Hebrew.

Well, since the subject has come up - and let's keep this between us on the thread since the announcement hasn't been made yet - you'll be happy to know that the concert is going to transfer for a commercial run with an all Israeli cast.

Is that the one starring the Jew-sie Lucy and Jesse that Kringas and PalJoey saw? I hear Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner will be headlining this performance as Lucy and Jessie.

Speaking of smocks....what is the proper dress code for an event like this? My Aunt Fulvia would like to join me for the commercial run and she wants to know if she can wear her new babushka.

As long as she is classie instead of lassie, she should be A-OK.
Do you think it'll recoup?

No doubt it will. Especially if they can get Alex Trebeck to play Ben.

My neighbors who saw the show in French but used the silly headphones so they could get a simultaneous translation into Hebrew (even though they're Bulgarian) told me that they overhard quite a bit of gossip during intermission. One very interesting rumor is that when the show has its commercial run, the role of Phyllis will be played by Marian Seldes.
Hmmm....dream casting!

Word just came by the grapevine that Lansbury is PISSED. Getting stood up by Seldes for Deuces has the play getting CANCELLED and she is now championing herself to be included in the transfer.
We infer that the master of accents might just try and snag Solange for herself. Who is ready for the brawl between her and Yvonne?

Le soleil monte, je pensent à vous.
La tasse de café, je pense à vous.
Vous avez dit que vous m'avez aimé,
vous étiez juste été aimable ?
Ou est-ce que je suis perdant mon esprit ?
Magnifique.
