While typecasting, Parsons would make a great Hysterium. I think making Hero, well, an awkward hero just doesn't work--we already have that archetype on stage. It'd throw the perfect balance of the show all off...
So... No Domina choices?
^ That makes sense. There does need to be a "straight man" to all the chaos, and I guess I overlooked that that's exactly what Hero contributes. lol But yes, Parsons would be an excellent Hysterium, as well.
If we're going with an all male cast, I'm gonna be obvious and say Harvey as Domina :P It would amazing to actually get Mary Testa back, though. She's still fully capable to rock the part like she did back in the 90's. Maybe Marin Mazzie? Sally Struthers?

Mazzie as a "sexier" Domina would work. They could give her "Farewell" as well...
I think Emily Skinner would make a dynamic Domina.
Kate Shindle, while probably too young, would also be wonderful.

I'd love to see Rachel York as Domina.
I think Mary Testa was the perfect Domjna.
Why does Rachel York's name come up for every role mentioned on this board? She is the worst casting choice I have ever heard for Domina. She's way too pretty and wrong in every way.
Henry Winkler as Senex?

I'm fairly certain there were some New York-based producers involved in the Australian production that starred Geoffrey Rush a year and a bit ago. Rush was incredible, I wouldn't be surprised if they're taking that production to Broadway.
