FUN HOME on TDF

Posted: 12/3/13 at 2:33amIt's on TDF for Wednesday. I didn't think it'd ever be on there. Wish I could go again.

It has been sold out since before you made this post, if you try to order 1 ticket it says it's sold out. Did anyone see this earlier? Were there other dates besides the Wednesday matinee?
Same question for The Glass Menagerie, I saw it up last week for the Wednesday matinee. Were there any other dates for it?

Posted: 12/3/13 at 10:22amI tried to get a ticket at 12:30am last night, but it said it could not be processed. I kept trying and trying, and I finally got one at around 1am. Had to log in and out a few times, but it worked! Very happy.

I don't know what the problem is with Fun Home tickets on TDF, but a frequent poster, April, wrote about the same thing. She did eventually get the ticket. I think maybe it's because TDF allows you to have the ticket reserved for 20 minutes before you have to pay, or something like that. So if someone has chosen a ticket but hasn't paid yet, it's kind of in limbo, and then released when the 20 minutes are up. Of course, this goes for any show, not just Fun Home.

Posted: 12/3/13 at 11:18amFor many a show on TDF I'll select the date and will be told there are no tickets available. I try off and on for 30 minutes or so and usually one will show up. I've been having trouble snagging a seat to Buyer and Cellar though, it always seems to come up unavailable whenever it shows up on TDF.

Yes, I was the one who posted about frantically checking TDF for more seats for probably an hour or two after they'd said they were sold out...until I scored! But Ripped Man, I have to say that it was actually a Fun Home ticket during the first few weeks of the run, so it's been up there before...and the nice things about extensions is that they often satisfy demands to the point that a wonderful show like these may be back there, if only for a few minutes
Don't forget, it is definitely rush-able as well.
