Anyone seeing the movie this weekend? I saw the production love in the fall and it was wonderful.

I'll be seeing it!

I saw it live but I'm excited to experience it again, this time with friends!

I wish it was playing near me but sadly it isn't. It was amazing and I had the pleasure of meeting th cast and they were all so sweet.

Saw it on broadway and already grabbed tickets for this Saturday. Loved the show, so happy it was recorded

I'm seeing it tomorrow as well -- in Toronto. I'm not familiar with the show. Would people who have seen it encourage me to listen to the recording before going tomorrow night or should I see the show without listening first?

I'd go without listening.. It'll have more impact.

I saw Falsettos last fall and LOVED it! I just checked my local theatre. They are only showing it tomorrow at 7:00. That's it. One showing. I was hoping to go on the weekend. I guess tomorrow, it is! So, if you're planning on seeing it, maybe check the theatre to make sure it'll still be showing. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out.

I knew absolutely nothing about it, I think it would be cool to go in blind. The opening number you'll be like....wtf....and then they start the actual story of their "tight knit family"

Seeing it Sunday - loved it on Broadway and while a movie can't replace that experience I'm so excited to see it again on the big screen!

Seeing it tomorrow in WI :)

Only knew basic plot lines beforehand when I saw it in November and fell in love. Can't wait to sob all over again. They actually put this on a pretty good size screen at my theater instead of the smallest one so I'm pretty excited.

I don't think it's a show you need to listen to first. I'm all for listening beforehand if I think it will help, but I think this will be better going in fresh

Thank you for the reminder! My theater is showing it this Wenesday (sold out) and next Wednesday. Snagged a ticket for next week! I saw it twice from lotto seats during the run, and can't wait to see it again!

I don't know that you'll even see this in time. You might want to listen to the recording first. Finn's music is tuneful and not hard to grasp, but he often writes in a sort of stream-of-consciousness style that some find odd.

I am so excited to be seeing this on screen tonight here in the Palm Springs area...i had 2nd row Mezz seats to see it at Lincoln Center last Nov, but cancelled that trip to NYC...so this will be my very first time seeing this musical, period...review to follow...:)

Seeing it tonight for the very first time! Never made it to the Kerr last fall, and it's one of my biggest regrets. Looking very much forward to it.

You will love it!!

Seeing it tomorrow with my sister who knows nothing about the show. I was lucky enough to see it in December, but the seats were at the end of the row on stage left so I do feel like I missed some action. Excited to see everything with a much better view!

"Some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, take the moment & making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity."

Yeah same. I've shed tears at plenty of shows but for some reason this wrecked me when I saw it last October. I was almost sobbing during the curtain call, I'm still not sure why but it totally killed me

Just a head's up for everyone seeing the movie - there is NO intermission built in to the movie (a la Newsies), so just make sure to use the restroom beforehand! :)

saw it tonight with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it! he's not a huge musical fan so i was glad he enjoyed it. anyone notice Christian Borle's missing fingernail??? wtf!! also someone should have given that kid some chapstick lol other than that truly wonderful! i love the lesbians too, Traci needs to come back in a musical soon, and this made me even sadder Betsy won't be in Frozen.
