A private screening...sigh. I got all excited from the title. Will have to wait for fall on PBS, I guess.

The Scottsboro Boys did this too, hosted private screenings for Tony voters who had missed its short run. It didn't help. The Tony voter I knew at the time didn't bother attending because she was so busy and used the free time she had seeing the shows still open. Just pointing out that this campaign has been tried before, and offering screenings does not guarantee that people will attend.
