I LOVE this show. The random musical references are the best part of it.

Peter and Lois are talking about how Bryan wouldn't let them in on his "closed set" and Lois explains that this wasn't the first time he's interrupted a production-cuts to a memory of cats dancing on stage (from cats) and Peter-in his car-crashes through on to the stage and hits one of the actors, "Oh my gosh! I promise! I didn't see it!!"
I think that's right..I have Season 3 on DVD..but I'm too lazy to find the exact quote..
Oh man, I WORSHIP Family Guy. The season 3 DVDs are constantly in my DVD player.
absolute genius. everyone should make Family Guy a part of their life
jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaja
thats it, im buying the dvds
NYAHNYAHNYAHNYAH MISS SAIGON. I love Family Guy it's wonderful.
I'm a fan of Family Guy and I love when they parodied musicals. It's always icing on a great cake.
Family Guy is genius, absolute genius! My favorite parody is when Peter says "Well, I had trouble fitting in in high school"-Cut to Peter as one of the Jets and messing up the dance steps. Then the leader (in a stereotypical gay voice) says "Stop! HOw many times do we have to go over this? It's passe passe snap kick, lunge! God, you're out!" NOt the exact quote, but something to that extent.
One of my favorite shows!! The "King and I" episode was one of the best in terms of musical references.
"La-la-la-la-la-Miss Saigon, la-la-la-la-la-Miss Saigon..."
And I think that was the first time we got to hear Seth MacFarlane sing (when Brian does his audition with "If Ever I Could Leave You"). Growf...
But my favorite is the CATS one, when Peter somehow crashes through the Winter Garden, onto the stage, and hits the guy playing Munkustrap. "Oh my God! I'm so sorry! It was an accident! He jumped out right in front of me!" I couldn't stop laughing for five minutes.
I love the one where Stewie is going through airport security and distracts the security people from seeing the weapons in his suitcase through the x-ray machine by singing "On the Good Ship Lollipop." He gets through easily and says "God, I hope Osama bin Laden doesn't know showtunes." Then the camera pans over and there is Osama doing the the same thing singing "God I hope I get it. I hope I get it. How many boys how many girls?" HILARIOUS.

Lol. One time I was watching with my frineds and in the show there in the car and they whole family gets into a fight and Lois says "Calm down everyone lets sing show tunes 'in olden days a glipse of stalking was" and then I jump in with "Looked on as something shocking but Now God Knows Anything Goes" yeah that one took some explaning.
BeanMatt, I don't remember that. Which episode was it?
This is one of my favorite television shows. Ever. Stewie and Brian are my fave characters.
"So, Broccoli... Mother says you're good for me. Well, unfortunately, I'm not good for YOU!"
I actually watched the "King and Us" episode last night.

Don't forget about the Give Up The Toad song!
My favourite episode is when Stewie gets into the performing arts school, and he has to perform with that other kid, Olivia.
"Listen to me! F sharp! Ah. Ah. Ah."
