Let's see there was Dr Ruth sitting in my row during Boy From Oz. Victor Barber and his tall drink of water date in the box beside me. (Somehow I watched them more than the show) Hi Victor! And outside at intermission of Avenue Q while having a smoke I realized I was having a smoke with Timothy Britten Parker, and sister Sarah Jessica. And here in Toronto I was seated next to director Jeff Calhoun at Jekyll and Hyde. It was so hard not to tell him what to fix but my friends begged me not to say anything. I couldn't believe after 30 weeks on tour he still didn't have a set show and was trying to figure out what to take out or put back....it was so hard, also hard when he left his notebook on his seat at intermission not to add some notes....but for some reason no one would lend me a pen
Most recently - John Corbett and Bo Derek at The Last Ship in November. Sebastian and Stephanie J. also were there that night.
I forgot to say, when I was outside Airline Highway before the show I saw Jessica Lange go into the theatre. It was pretty funny, she materialized out of nowhere, was by herself, and seemed a little out of it. She had these big sunglasses on but we made eye contact (I assume) and she could tell I recognized her compared to everyone else, I smiled and she nodded her head and flashed me a smile and wave and walked in.
I urinated next to Billy Joel when I saw Carousel in 1994 at the Vivian Beaumont.
Sat in back of Katharine Hepburn during Into the Woods when Dick Cavett played the narrator.
I once saw Santino Fontana at Bullets OVer Broadway, but that hardly counts as famous.

My Moms friend saw J.K. Simmons at A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder just a few days before the Oscars. He greeted with fans but was wearing a teeshirt and sweat pants.
I saw Bullets Over Broadway a few days after it opened and saw Woody Allen walking out of the stage door. He was quiet but could tell me and my dad recognized him so he smiled and winked at us.
If we're really being technical I saw and met Jeremy Jordan and Jason Robert Brown at GMA. Jeremy didn't sign my autograph but took a picture with my mom. He had to go right after he did. I didn't blame him. Then one of the people felt bad for me so they invited me inside to watch Jeremy perform! That was amazing, especially to be in the heat (It was Mid-Febuary). After the performance they gave out TL5Y CDs signed by Jeremy. We waited by the stage door after it was all over so i could truly meet Jeremy and talk to him. He came out but left saying he was late for a flight. There were only a few people there so again, I don't blame him. With Jeremy gone, the rest of the crowd left. It was me and my mom just sitting around and chatting when JRB came out. I instantly recognized him and asked for his autograph. He signed the CD and a piece of paper. He's a really nice guy.
George Takei at Bullets Over Broadway; Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton at A Little Night Music; Marvin Hamlisch at Anything Goes; Bob Harper at Anything Goes
I met Sondheim at West Side Story in DC when the fire alarm went off during act 2. We had to evacuate the theatre and he ended up standing next to me, so I took it as a sign from God and said something.
Next favorite was Jon Hamm with Jennifer Westfeldt across the aisle from me at In the Next Room. I went backstage to see Michael Cerveris afterwards and the first thing out of my mouth (after he just went full-frontal onstage) was "Oh my god Jon Hamm was here!" Sorry Michael. Thankfully, this was before the rumors about Jon Hamm's massive junk, so it was less emasculating then.

Dulé Hill at A Christmas Story at MSG, he chatted a bit and signed my poster.
Bruce Vilanch at Drood, he signed as well after joking with me about Chita being out.
Most recently at Something Rotten! I turned around at intermission to discover Laura Linney behind me. She politely declined to sign my poster, but before I could turn around she stopped me and said "wait! I'll sign something else!" Before rummaging through her purse and writing me a lovely note on her ticket envelope.

It wasn't Broadway, but the weirdest one ever was sitting behind Chuck Norris at the Producers on tour in San Francisco several years ago.
Not Broadway really, but my mom and I have caught George Bush Sr. and Barbara Bush at two theatrical events here in Houston: One was a Broadway concert with performers such as Chuck Wagner and Sandra Joseph, and another was when the Radio City Rockettes came for their Christmas Spectacular.

Daniel Craig at a preview of "Book of Mormon". Kathleen Turner was there too, and during the huge crush to get to the bathrooms during intermission we wound up face to face in the crowd. She turned to me and said, "F*** this, I don't have to pee THAT bad!" We both howled.
Liza, Alan Alda, Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Melissa Etheridge, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara at the opening of "House of Blue Leaves" on Broadway starring Ben Stiller.
I attended a performance of "Victor/Victoria" and heard familiar voices behind me and turned to see Gerald Ford and Henry Kissinger. There was some kind of benefit that night for the Betty Ford Clinic.
Gwyneth Paltrow was in the seat in front of me at "A Doll's House" starring Janet McTeer.
There was a time every show I went to see seemed to have Harvey Fierstein in the audience.
Several others, but those stand out for me.
