I thought the photos looked spot-on as far as honoring the tone and sensibilities of the film, which is one of my favorites. It looks to be a highly faithful adaptation, as most of the set pieces seem included, even the art critic visiting the town. O'Hara is such a logical piece of casting, it's hard to fathom anyone else ever being considered. Paquale seems especially right for Frank.

Just curious when I saw this post with the pics. Is O'Hara on vacation from Nice Work in order to do this?
Also - the pics look amazing. I agree the look and feel very much honors the palette of the movie. If the production values are any indication of the quality of the show, would really love to see this.

Yes, she's on vacation and Erin Dilly is filling in for her.
I've heard that the book is near-identical to the screenplay and that the songs act as the close-ups.
As someone who even loved Korie and Frankel's score for HAPPINESS, I'm very excited to hear this one...
