Lets face it...after what happened with Hair dont think any show will ever do that idea of putting a tour limited broadway run again!

Must we be sarcastic here? yes this return engagement was a financial flop, but it was still a great production of a great show that was able to play a few months on broadway, a show a hell of a lot more deserving than some of the other crap that's playing.
congrats to all involved, I hope the remainder of the tour goes amazingly.
and goodbye to Kacie Sheik, who is finally leaving the role of Jeanie. Thank you for all your wonderful work!

I am still shocked it did so poorly...really thought the summer tourist would have been enough to sustain it...especially since the 09 production did so well!! Your right after so many real crappers out there this was one that truely deserves to be on broadway!! hopefully the rest of the tour will do well!! I know it has a one month stop in San Francisco so hopefully itll be a good success there!!

Posted: 9/10/11 at 5:07pmThe sun is setting on the age of aquarius on Broadway. It was a great production..one that solidified the importance and relevance of this piece. It was a joy to see this musical be not only greatly received but rediscovered by a new generation! A job well done by all involved. Peace, love and happiness!!!!

Posted: 9/10/11 at 5:23pmI'll agree. So happy this came back for the summer as I did not see the original either. It was perhaps the most moving, joyful, exhilirating theatrical experience I've had. Thank you to the cast & crew.
