Farewell! I will always love it for what it was, even though it needed work. But it introduced me to some of my now favorite performers so I'm so glad this show happened. And I will always love to music, I don't care what anyone says.
Lestat will be missed.

Even though I didn't see it, I still am sad to see this leaving. I think it is sad to see any show leaving. I wish the cast the best for their future in theatre.
EDIT: I hope that Alison (i am not sure if there are two 'l's' or one) really can succeed, because she has so much talent (after watching the video preview).

I am sorry I never had the chance to see it
Elton John and Hugh Panaro are two of my favorite people ever and Allison Fisher as Claudia is amazing from what I have heard and seen in clips. She will go far, I have no doubt.
Can't wait for the CD!
People need to lay off the bashing. I have seen and heard and read some terrible, unfair and just mean-spirited things about this show. The world needs more kindness and this is Broadway, not Hollywood.

A farewell video from Broadway.com. Very sweet and cute.
I'm looking forward to the CD. I did enjoy a few numbers.

Just got back from the last show. It was my first time seeing it, and it was honestly better than I thought. The first act dragged in places and wasn't that exciting. But I loved the second act. Drew Sarich sang amazingly in his solo at the end. Hugh gave a great performance as did Carolee and Allison Fischer, who's "I Want More" was terrific. There were tears at the curtain call. But the audience was very supportive. Sad to see this talented cast out of work
Though, I'm very glad I got to experience Lestat.
I may just have to buy the cd...

No. Drew Sarich was Lestat for both shows yesterday.

Posted: 5/28/06 at 8:35pmI was there as well. The show has definitely improved since I saw it back on April 1st, but it still needed work. The biggest problem, as most have mentioned, is that it tried to cover way too much information in a 2.5 hour show. That being said, the cast was amazing this afternoon. Carolee, as always, was brilliant. Her voice is absolutely stunning and she is an example of how an amazing actor can overcome mediocre material. Simply wonderful. Can't wait to see her in her next show. Allison Fisher was also excellent. Her song "I Want More" is the best song in the show. Hope she gets more work in the future. Drew was great today as well. And Hugh, though still sick, said he was going to be at the last show even if he had to croak through it. Luckily, when he was on stage, you couldn't tell at all that he was sick. He really has an amazing voice. Good luck to the cast...hope they all find work soon.

I was at the final performance via student tixs.
...please I am trying to forget my experience. it is a shame that such a talented cast had to do such "art"
my highlight of the day was watching spiderman 3 being filmed all day and getting a picture with the director

Posted: 5/28/06 at 9:09pmWell, I for one am very glad I got to experience this show and look forward to adding the CD to my collection in the next several months. The actors should be very proud of themselves, they were all outstanding. Too bad the critics didn't like the show.

Just watched the Broadway.com piece, and I it was so sad to see, because I think with some changes, this was a show that definitely could've found a greater audience.
Although is it wrong to think they should've put that Bad Day song in the background?
Anyway, I for one will miss Lestat and the amazing cast and crew that brought it to the stage eight times a week. Kudos to teh cast, I know I'll see them all on stage soon.
