Favorite "Tweeners"

Who are your favorite stage characters that are "Tweeners": Neither good nor bad, but in between? Some of mine are The Witch from INTO THE WOODS, Sweeney Todd from SWEENEY TODD, Mama Rose from GYPSY, Elphaba from WICKED and Javert from LES MISERABLES.

It's all subjective. I should have said "Your favorite character that YOU don't consider either good or bad".

I think CATS was confused (as was I), wondering how Rose or Sweeney could be considered a "tween", as in a kid between ages 10-12.

I thought he meant a "tween" too, very confusing...
