re: Favorite Entr'actes

I love Phantom's Entre'Acte...it's so pretty. Also, it's such a stark contrast to the overture.

re: Favorite Entr'actes

That's true. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but Phantom's entre'acte is really nice.

re: Favorite Entr'actes

I was a wolf in a previous production of Beauty and the Beast. The curtain would be closed and all of the wolves would be onstage. We would dance like crazy people to the entr'act untill the stage manager yelled at us because the curtain was going to open. We called it "getting our wolf on"

I love how light hearted the begining of Phantom's is. As Radioactiveduck said, its a great contrast to the oveture.

The Rocky Horror Show.

When I was in the show the Phantoms would enter the house and dance around the audience with audience members, it was always so much fun and I loved hearing the even more "rocked out" versions of the songs.

No one's mentioned Les Mis yet, it's not the best, but it's still pretty good, i think. :)

Les Miz has an Entr'acte?! How are we defining ENtr'acte?

re: Favorite Entr'actes

en·tr'acte
n.
1.
a. The interval between two acts of a theatrical performance.
b. Another performance, as of music or dance, provided between two acts of a theatrical performance.
2. An interval likened to the one occurring between two acts of a drama.

But I think you are talking about the music that precedes the second half of a musical, if it has such an interlude.

I like Sunset Boulevard's.

Cabaret, bar none.

I also like :
Sweet Charity
The Wizard of Oz
Tommy (called an "Underture")

Seussical's is fun to watch, what with the Cat's antics and all.

"Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life"

YES Josh, I totally forgot all about it! I think that was one of my top 3 favorite moments during the show, only topped by the Spiderwoman bits and the Dance at the Gym. I remember loving that entr'acte so much, I wish it got recorded
