This is a tricky subject, because lots of BWay songs arer sung by characters "In love"... And sometimes they're upset that the other doesn't love them... So I'll write a list of all the songs I love that that happen to deal with love....
First off, as a gay man, I must confess my absolute favorite love song is Cher's "After All"... My god, I love that woman! But as a gay broadway fan I suppose it's:
Unexpected Song - From Song & Dance... My god, so beautiful.
I'll Cover You - From Rent, and the reprise is heartbreaking.
Without Love - From Hairspray, Now I've tasted Chocolate... Well, I haven't, but Penny has...
The Winner Takes It All - From Mamma Mia! I know what you're thinking, but I think it is a love song. She's still in love with him, and broken hearted because she thinks he doesn't care. Take the line "Tell me does she kiss, like I used to kiss you?" Ugh...
I Got Lost In His Arms - From AGYG, Go Bernie!
Beauty and the Beast - From show of same name... I'm sorry, but I remember when I was kid, I just loved this song!
What I Did For Love - Does this count? Even if it doesn't it's still pretty!
Written In the Stars - Elton and Tim outdid themselves here!

That's all the ones that's coming to my post bar mind... I'm sure there are so many others, but that's what's making me miss my bf right now.

note: these are the songs i play when i am "in love", whether it be happy (first list) or sad (second list), there's a song for every occassion. i dunno whats up with the 3rd list
