I reject the world's complacency. Give me something to believe! In my soul I am your brother, we are bound to one another, angered by the darkness in life and the lies we perceive." RAGTIME

Two from Miss Saigon that I love:
"Christ, I am American! How can I fail to do good?!"
and:
"Perfume can cover a stench, that's what I learned from The French."
"You watch while I revise the world."
Every single Sunday In the Park With George song touches my soul, but "Beautiful" just makes me speechless every time.
"Hey, it's me."
If/Then
I realize it's a straight pander to Idina fans but I love that line as an entrance and also lines to the 11'o clock number.
I crack up every time I think of this line and the business that goes with it from Hello, Dolly!:
You go your way Horace Vandergelder, and I'll go mine.
And from Urinetown: The Musical:
You're just going to throw me off this roof? And that's supposed to be Urinetown? Death is Urinetown?
That's one interpretation.
I second "To love another person is to see the face of God." I'm also fond of "We all lead such elaborate lives" from Aida. I particularly love when the final line of a show sums it up perfectly. I'm thinking "There will be light" from Next to Normal, "Tomorrow comes" in Les Mis, or Rent's "No Day But Today"

Men our stupid. Men our vain.
Love's disgusting. Love's insane.

"Well we can't all come and go by bubble!" - Wicked
"At last! My arm is complete again!" - Sweeney Todd
"If you know what you want then you go and you find it and you get it." - Into the Woods
"You too, son." - Into the Woods
" -Oh, how I would love a cape like that!
- Really? You would look quite foolish." -Into the Woods
I think Into the Woods' lyrics are very clever and witty. Of course, I paraphrased on the last one, I couldn't recall the actual lines. I think I got the gist of it, though.

From Next to Normal:
"Some hurts never heal. Some ghosts are never gone, but we go on, we still go on. And you find some way to survive, and you find out you don't have to be happy at all to be happy you're alive." and "I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay."
From Wicked:

Made up of dreams for me
But when they're faded away
Let me remember today."
