I love in Once on this Island where Ti Moune goes "Oh gods, oh god are you there? Are you there?" toward the end of the show. It gives me chills every time.

Try not to stone me to death guys, but I like the "I'm Not That Girl" Reprise in Wicked...One of the few intricate parts of the story is the role reversal of Elphaba and Glinda there. I like it because it enhances the weakly developed book, and I'm an text analysis buff so seeing this role reversal and having it emphasized by a song is great.

Ya know, I was just thinking the exact same thing... that I'd be murdered for saying INTG... but I love how it leads right into "As Long As You're Mine".... it sounds great!

My other favorite has to be "All I Ask of You" from POTO... when I saw it on tour, it really was a build up. The trembling violin sound and Brad Little (as the Phantom) dealing with the emotions... and he took pauses inbetween the beginning lines which really added to it... it got my heart racing... great way to build up the climax

"Waitin For The Light To Shine" from Big River is a really great Reprise. The first time Huck sings it, he is very reflective and peaceful, and the reprise of the song finds Huck in an angry acceptance of who he is. All the slaves that accompany him as backups don't hurt the song either!

What's so good about reprises?? They're there for the sole purpose of not discussing them... they're just THERE. They mean nothing whatsoever than to advance the plot or drum a tune into someone's head. I like the songs

I really like the reprise of I Don't Know How To Love Him from Jesus Christ Supersar when Judas sings it before his death. This song works very well for both characters who sing it.
