is Raven up on the website already? Well out of the other two I liked Streetsinger better than Once Upon a Time, even though I loved them both!

I'm in love with Streetsinger, it's just such a huge burst of energy, such a huge song. But I absolutely love all of them. Streetsinger just gets me really pumped, and I would definately give this song, as well as the others, a standing ovation. Ask me tomorow and I'll probably say Raven or Once Upon a Time, but as of now, Streetsinger's my number one.
You know it and you want it... you just can't believe you've got it.

I think the words are deceptively simple but quite poetic when taken as a whole. In many ways, the lyrics to the song "Once Upon a Time" suggest to me the work of the poet Zoë Adkins, specificially her 1912 poem "The Tragedienne."

Yeah, I don't judge poetry on words in all, but also by the way it makes me feel after I hear/read it. Once Upon a Time, as well as Streetsinger, really make me think, just about life, and dreams, and whether or not you go anywhere in life at all, or if amazing things can really happen to you.
You know it and you want it... you just can't believe you've got it.

Yes I agree that vivid imagery along with a compelling mix of musical notes can actually be very transporting. I think the lyrics of Brooklyn really have what it takes, I wouldn't be surprised if the lyricist studied a lot of poetry in school because there is a lot going on there.

Brooklyn is pure poetry.

Especially moving was the "There Was A Young Lady From France.." song.
