So, I'm a bit of an Aaron Tveit addict, and I have been listening to NEXT TO NORMAL a lot lately. Which is your favorite piece? I'm conflicted between "I Am the One" and "A Light In the Dark"...
I think they sang a song about forgetting, but I forget what it was.

So Anyway (I actually prefer Pearl Sun's rendition) and Hey #3/Perfect For You, But I think the entire OCBR (except for Lights, bit too cheesy for me) is perfection and I listen to it whenever I need something to sooth my anguished soul
"I Miss the Mountians" is gorgeous. I also love "Just Another Day."

Prelude, Let There Be Light, Just Another Day. I wish someone would make a longer version of Prelude, and then a remix that can be played in a disco.

All of them. I genuinely love every song in the show.
"So Anyway (I actually prefer Pearl Sun's rendition)"
Yes I kind of did too because she could sing it quite well. I have never seen an actor struggle to sing a song more than Alice Ripley singing "So Anyway" at the end of the N2N tour. However, and I know it's a cop-out - there was something so desperate, pathetic and raw about Alice Ripley's "So Anyway" at the end of the tour that it has stuck in my memory a lot longer than Pearl Sun's.
Just Another Day, I Miss the Mountains, and I'm Alive/I'm Alive (reprise).
All of it...
But I particularly enjoy "Just Another Day," "You Don't Know/I Am," "Didn't I see This Movie," "I'm Alive (reprise)," "Hey #3," and "Anyway."
I like the one that goes la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la.
That's a good song.
La la la la la la la la Costco la la la la la la la la sammiches la la la la la la la la bread on da floor la dee da dee doo
Guys, I was a huge fan of NEXT TO NORMAL. And I've never shared my favorite song...and I honestly don't have one.
The whole show was a brilliant piece. I feel funny singling out one to be the best, or my favorite. (Although, "It's Gonna Be Good" was the worst.)
I hate rock musicals. I loved NEXT TO NORMAL. Why? 'Cuz it wasn't a rock musical.

I was going to say "I've Been," but then every time I read a new post, I thought, "No, that's my favorite song."
So, basically, what I'm saying is, they're all perfect.
So Anyway. Costco had to go but I liked that too.

I think I like "Just Another Day" and "Didn't I See This Movie" the best. I also really like the way "Who's Crazy?/My Psychopharmacologist And I" way staged.

"You Don't Know", "Make Up Your Mind/She's Not There", "Superboy and the Invisible Girl", and "Didn't I See This Movie"
I love "I Miss the Mountains," but "Superboy and the Invisible Girl" is my favorite.
