Being selective in your choices - choosing only the real memorable ones to you, what are some of your favorite performances from Broadway concerts?
Mine:
- Linda Eder singing "Man of La Mancha" at LEADING LADIES
- Audra McDonald, Marin Mazzie, and Judy Kuhn singing the Lloyd Webber Love Trio: "Love Changes Everything," "Unexpected Song," and "I Don't Know How To Love Him" at LEADING LADIES
- Dorothy Louden singing "Losing My Mind/Drive A Person Crazy" at SONDHEIM CARNEGIE HALL CELEBRATION
Cheesy choice, but Doug LaBrecque's "Music of the Night" in concert was the best I'd ever seen, and I've seen Phantom over a dozen times.
If it counts as a Broadway concert, any number of things David Campbell sang were my favorites.
Lisa Howard singing with the Philly Pops, especially her I Dreamed a Dream, Someone Like You, and In His Eyes.
Loudon singing "Fifty Percent" from BALLROOM on Leading Ladies. I miss her.
Does the Elton John tribute concert count? If so, Adam Pascal singing "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" is my favorite.
Edit - Also, "Pinball Wizard" - Adam Pascal - Bravo's Best of Broadway

Nathan Lane singing a doo wop version of "Sue Me" in Broadway's Greatest Love Songs (that's what I think it was called)
Florence Henderson singing "When You're Good to Mama" at Actor's Fund Benefit concert, Sing Happy.
John Tartaglia and Christopher Sieber singing "Don't Put it Down" at Actor's Fund Benefit Concert of HAIR.
Rosie O and Liza singing "Liza With a Z" together. That one was at Leading Ladies wasn't it?
Nathan Lane and Kristin Chenoweth singing "You're Just In Love" from some concert..I don't know what it was from.
I'm sure there are more that I can't think of....
Cheyenne Jackson "I"ve got your number" Broadway Under the Stars leading men.

Kristin and Nathan singing "You're Just in Love" was not from a concert. It was from The Late Show with David Letterman. Nathan was filling in for Letterman who was undergoing heart surgery if I remember correctly.
"One Last Kiss" from the 85 concert of Follies...Erie Mills and Licia Albanese.
I second (and third and fourth) Dorothy Loudon's "Losing My Mind/You Could Drive a Person Crazy" on the Sondheim: A Celebration at Carnegie Hall DVD.
One of my favorite performances of all time, in anything (film, tv, stage, concerts, etc).
Losing My Mind/You could Drive a Person Crazy - Dorothy Loudon at the Sondheim Celebration at Carnegie Hall
The McDonald, Mazzie, Kuhn Medley - Leading Ladies (We call it the dress song at Showtune nights. All the new people that join us have to vote on their favorite dress. Mine is Mazzie's!)
Yes...It is at a gay bar. :)
The Lloyd Webber Love Trio is the first thing that popped into my head. But I also love the entire A Little Night Music Segment from the Sondheim Celebration at Carnegie Hall.
Oh, uncageg...definitely Mazzie's.
Losing My Mind/You could Drive a Person Crazy - Dorothy Loudon
And not really a concert, but I really enjoyed Christine Ebersole's "As If We Never Said Goodbye" at The Kennedy Center Honors.
Kuhn's is nice but she always loses because it is too short!
I love the flesh-tone of Kuhn's, but you're right about the length. :)
...And sometimes, late at night, when I am alone, I pull out my tri-fold full lenght mirror and wear my replica of Mazzie's dress, and sing!
Donna Murphy's "Pirate Jenny" and Adriane Lenox's "16 Feet Below Sea Level" at THE PUBLIC SINGS.
Michele Pawk and John Dossett's "Send in the Clowns" at WALL-TO-WALL SONDHEIM.
Patti LuPone's Being Alive at Sondheim: A Celebration at Carnegie Hall
I loved Dorothy Louden's performance as well.
uncageg - That's what I saw on youtube last week!! Explains alot! =)
Michael Ball's Gesethmane, Vaults of Heaven and Love Changes Everything from ALW Royal Albert Hall Celebration, Empty Chairs at Empty Tables at Les Miz 10th Anniv. concert, and Losing My Mind at Hey Mr. Producer. I fell in love with him just from these DVDs.
Rachel York's Maybe this Time at a Kander and Ebb celebration at Town Hall challenged Liza for the best rendetion I've ever heard of that song.
There are so many others, but I guess if I have to be that selective, it'd be those two performers.

I really enjoyed the Miss Saigon segment from Hey Mr. Producer. I know, it's cheesy. But I like it.
Of course, my absolute favorite would be Being Alive sung by Patti LuPone. =)
I loved I when Bernadette Peters sang “Johanna” From Sweeney Todd at one of her concerts. It was so wonderfully lesbian!
From Mr. Producer
-Send in the Clowns (Dench)
-I've grown acustomed to her face (Pryce)
Both should be shown the first day of Freshman year of college to all Musical theater students as an example what it is to be a actor who sings. It's not about the voice all the time!
MotorTink, it will be featured on GMA tomorrow morning!!! LOL
GMA? Hot sh*t!
At least I will be able to say "I knew you when..."
