Favorite show of these composers

Rogers and Hammerstein: Oklahoma! because I played Gertie in high school
Stephen Sondheim: Sweeney Todd, but Assassins is close
Stephen Schwartz: Wicked
Andrew Lloyd Webber: Jesus Christ Superstar
Kander and Ebb: Cabaret

re: Favorite show of these composers

R&H - The King and I
Sondheim - A Little Night Music, Assassins, Sweeney, Follies and on
Schwartz - Pippin, Wicked
Webber - JCS, Evita, Joseph
Kander and Ebb - Cabaret, Chicago

Sorry, it was hard to follow the ONE show rule. Once I got to Sondheim there was no turning back.

re: Favorite show of these composers

Rogers and Hammerstein: The King & I, South Pacific.
Stephen Sondheim: Ooo...no fair, but I guess Sweeney...Passion I'm obsessed with for no particular reason though. If we're allowed to say all, all...except Forum, Saturday Night & Bounce.
Stephen Schwartz: Umm...not a fan by any means...I guess Wicked.
Andrew Lloyd Webber: Evita
Kander and Ebb: From my limited knowledge of Chicago, Cabaret and part of Steel Pier, I'll say Chicago melodically, Cabaret thematically.

Hello?
Glebb must be very sleepy because he failed to list Carousel and Company.

re: Favorite show of these composers

Hmmm... Gosh, this is tough!

R&H - Carousel or maybe South Pacific, both have beautiful scores
Sondheim - Ah!!! Tough call! I couldn't say. All of it.
Schwartz - Godspell. But what I've heard of The Baker's Wife is great, I should give it a listen.
ALW - maybe Evita, but not a big fan of Sir Webber
K&E - Cabaret

re: Favorite show of these composers

R&H - Oklahoma!
Sondheim - Tough call... either Sweeney or Assassins
Schwartz - I REALLY don't like Schwartz. If I had to pick a show, I'd say Pippin, but just because of Morning Glow
ALW - I'm also not a big fan of Webber, to put it mildly. I'd probably say Joseph, but just because of the awesome surrealism of the movie version.
K&E - I'd have to say Cabaret.

To add a twist to things, lets add in some more guys:
Menken - Weird Romance, though Little Shop is a close second
Coleman - City of Angels, hands-down

re: Favorite show of these composers

Haha, Weird Romance! I much prefer the second act of Weird Romance to the first. I was in the pit for that show about a month ago and I didn't really get into the first story as I did with the second story. But that's for a different thread.

Menken - definitely Little Shop of Horrors
Coleman - I don't know him too well, can't say I'm a huge fan of his, so I wouldn't know what would be my favorite
