I'd assume they'll petition Hurder and Ashmanskas for Lead, and everyone else as Featured. Bowman has a decent shot for a nomination, with Kristine Neilsen as a possible dark horse?
The Smash featured players have sort of thinly drawn characters for the most part. The actors are doing everything they can with them I think, and the vocal performances are amazing. But it might be tough for them to land a nomination.
Bella Coppola gets the best moment of the bunch with the act one finale which is genuinely thrilling. Caroline Bowman got a great audience response with Just Keep Moving the Line. I'd be happy if either of them were nominated but I do think there are women in other shows who just have more complex characters to portray so both of these ladies likely get left off the list.

Bernadette and Lea are above the title in the online Playbill. I doubt they could be petitioned down to featured without folks crying about category fraud.
Complaints about category fraud tend to be about size of roles vs. their category placement, not billing. I haven't seen Old Friends, but I cannot imagine that Salonga or Peters are featured more heavily than the rest of the performers enough for people to cry foul if they're put in Featured over Lead. Their billing is due to their fame, not the size of their roles. Peters will likely always appear over the title of any show she appeared in, even if she had one scene.

I found both Jordan Tyson and Leslie Margherita to be completely over the top and grating. They were acting like they both escaped an asylum and it took me completely out of the show. On the other end of the spectrum was Joy Woods who faded so far into the background I can't remember anything about her performance at all.

TBH, I don't see anyone from SMASH being nominated in this category!
