Final Charlie Price(s)??

So I'm wondering who will be replacing Conor Manyard as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots. Looking at Mark Ballas' posts and they say "Only goodbye for now " and "Til next time ". Could he be coming back for the end ? I'd love to see David Cook come back but that might be questionable since he broke his hand back in October ??

Well if a new Charlie is replacing Conor Manayard, he should be starting rehearsals next week.... David Cook was asked during his weekly radio show last week if he was coming back and he didn't confirm or deny but mentioned on how Tiki Barber had big shoes to fill from Dan Stewart Sherman. He did say later on though that he had "no plans for 2019 but plans on being busy". He also apparently didn't confirm or deny when being asked at meet & greets during his tour when people asked. He is currently in PT though for breaking two fingers and part of his wrist from an accident in October............

Well Conor Manayard only has 2 weeks left. According to Twitter, it looks like he extended by 1 show into Jan 11th.. I assume a previous Charlie is coming back ? Callum Francis still seems to be in the UK so I guess he starts rehersals next week. Mark Ballas is also currently in the UK visiting his family for the holidays and just posted a pic of his dad wearing a KB shirt on his IG story so maybe he's coming back as Charlie for the last 3 months ?

As mentioned before ,David Cook dodged the question when being asked on his weekly radio show a few weeks ago and mentioned about how Tiki Barber had big shoes to fill for Don. Depending on his PT scheudle for his hand,I guess he could do the last 6 weeks and Mark or somebody else doing the other ? A lot of David's fans are hoping he's coming back ...

I wonder if the producers are in a situation like Waitress where the next Charlie can't start right after Maynard finishes? They might have to have one of the understudies play Charlie for a few weeks and then either Ballas or Cook comes in the beginning of February.

Maybe Cook can't start right away from his injury from Oct (Think he said on his radio show that that he got almost full control back of the hand but was still working on his grip a few weeks ago ?) so maybe that situation might happen. Ballas dosen't seem to really be doing anything right now either ....

Callum Francis wrote on his IG that he's flying to NY tomorrow . Guess he starts rehersals next week with whoever will be Charlie next. I assume it's a previous one at this point.....

Hmm.Callum Francis just followed Andy Kelso on IG. Maybe he's coming back temporarily because of David Cook's injury and Cook closes ???

Still no word. The Kelso-Cook scenario seems most likely. Maynard's last show is the 10th(next Thursday). Kelso could start the 11th and Cook could return Feb. 11(gives Kelso one month in the role).

KB has told fans on Twitter and wrote on IG that Manayrd ends the 11th instead of the 10th with no press release/website update

David Cook has his weekly radio show at 5 today (didn't do it last week because of the holidays ) Hoping for an announcement then if he's coming back ...He said on his New Years post that he has "stuff to share "

Odd that he's still listed for the 10th on certain sites.

He has missed a ton of shows, especially during the Christmas/New Year's week(s). He's actually out today via John Jeffrey Martin's Twitter.

Either today/tomorrow is 1 week until Conor's last show since they have given two different dates.....Forgot to say yesterday when David Cook was asked about his hand on the radio show, he said "hand is good ".....

Happy it's Andy Kelso, but I do have to wonder if the hold out on the announcement was maybe they were trying to bring in Cook for the final month and things feel through. Will be trying to see the show again from Jan. 11 - 20 to see Callum Francis and before Tiki joins. Then one final time during it's last week.

My Twitter feed was exploding with David Cook Fans last night being pissed over Kelso coming back. I hope David's hand is ok even though he said it was ok on his radio show on Weds along with "wait and see " on coming back to KB. I know Kelso was already in the books before Weds since Callum Francis had followed him on IG. I've heard good things about his Charlie (and his Harry sounds great on and OBC recording ) and hoping to go one last time before closing .

Has anybody seen Kelso as Charlie for  his current run? Hoping to go back in March....

 

and speaking of David Cook, he said on his radio show a few weeks ago that he was learning lines for an audition. Hope to see him back on Broadway soon......
