Finding Neverland Will Record Cast Album In June

I was speaking with someone involved with the show yesterday and was told that the plan now is to go into the studio in June to record a cast album for the show. I know there was some discussion on this, so I just wanted to share that.

Coincidentally I was looking for the release date of the concept album yesterday but there is no trace of it on amazon anymore.

Anyone know if it's been moved?

Wouldn't it just be easier instead of doing two separate ones to add some of the Concept recording tracks as bonus on the original cast album?

That's what I was thinking. At this point it doesn't make sense to release 2 albums so close together but nothing Weinstein has done with this production has made any sense.

I completely agree especially considering that the songs from the score don't even seem to translate that well to the styles of the main stream stars recording them. I was really underwhelmed with Rita Ora's take on Play. It made little sense outside of the context of the show and sounded just stupid.

The concept recording is still available on Amazon's Canadian website, to be released on April 21

 Not to Harvey, he can make more money with two albums, especially if one is pandering to larger audiences because it includes famous pop stars. I don't doubt in the least thas his only purpose for putting it out.
