This show looks like it's going to be absolutely amazing.
I hope I can eventually see it.

And that shows nothing of the very inventive set doing it's thing.
When it goes into the office then into Mr. Hart's office, it's a wonder to be seen.
^^^^^ Or when it goes from a bare stage straight to the full office set (in like, less than 5 seconds)!
Pretty amazing!
An snippet of an interview Stephanie gave to the OC Register
"I thought this would be a small musical. Well, we found out when we went to the first (technical rehearsal) that they're creating a realistic environment. We go in the beginning from a completely empty stage to a completely detailed office with fluorescent lights, a water cooler and props galore. And it all happens in less than 20 seconds."
Director Joe Mantello has his hands full simply being a traffic cop during rehearsals, Block said. "Most musicals have about 18 set changes. We have 47 transitions."
Sets are TOTALLY impressive! I have now watched the ending courtesy of youknowwhere several times and I STILL can't figure out how Hart pops in and out so quickly!

I am so excited about this show! It's the musical I am looking forward to most this season! The music sounds great, and I am so happy to see the show whelmed by such a passionate and spirited writer.
