Anyone else excited? I can't wait until they post who's going to be there! Who all is going this year? And what shows are you going to see, for those making a trek from a distance?
I'm totally going and I can't wait!
I'm crossing my fingers that Bernadette Peters shows up again.
I can't wait, I went last year for the first time and it was great!
I'm hoping for a nice weekend for the 21st---the rain date is the 28th, and I can't make the trek back!

This is my favorite Broadway Cares event of the whole year. I'm so excited!!
I'm very excited about this year. Mainly, because I missed last year's from being under the weather. I'm also very curious to see how [title of show] will be represented!

Is it really expensive stuff? Hopefully I can go but I'm just wondering how expensive stuff is going to be. Anybody got any tips or helpful hints about the flea market?
I'm really excited to go, I went last year and it was a lot of fun! I'm definitely there!

eep!! we planned our trip for that weekend and I had NO idea it was during the flea market! we've never been & we're sooo excited.
How much is it to get autographs? And what do they sign? Not sure how it works. Thanks.

Ah, I hate living in Massachusetts. No way to get there. I think I'm gonna plan when I visit schools in NYC next summer around this so I can go!
Yes, flying in from Belgium for my very first Broadway Flea Market visit. For the past five years or so, the dates never worked out so I'm totally psyched that it's finally happening this year.
I'll be seeing a number of shows as well during this trip (In The Heights, Gypsy, YF, Spring Awakening, tos, Fifty Words, Jersey Boys,...). Can't wait!

Several people are at the celebrity table every hour, and it costs $20 to go through the line each hour. They tend to sign whatever you ask them, but they sell flea market posters for them to sign as well. I think those are also $20.
You can get up to two items signed by each person per trip through the autograph line. Plus, they have the photo booth as well where, for $10 (or $40 for certain stars) you can get your picture taken with the celebs. I got some awesome autographed stuff last year.
The Flea Market itself was the best time. I bought so many great items and it was fun to mingle with members of the Broadway community. I plan to attend yearly from now on.
Great info! I think I am going to be able to make it this year for the first time. I work two jobs and go to school full time and have a mortgage to pay so, I don't have a ton of money to spend. It's nice to hear that things aren't really expensive.
I will be another first-timer at the Broadway Flea Market. Very excited! I was looking at the website and pictures from last year and it's looks like a lot of fun.
Will they announce who's going to be at the celebrity tables before the day of the Flea Market? That's one of the things I'm most looking forward to. How many actors are there at the tables each hour? What do you pay the $20 and go down the whole line of celebrities for autographs? And then each hour, different celebs come in?

Yes they will announce prior to September 21st who will be there. It gets updated periodically as well, as it gets closer to the date. They'll let you know who is coming and which hour, so you can know when you want to be in line. It's 20 to go along the line of the entire hour, like they said.. two items per person can be autographed. I really don't remember how many people there are per hour... like ten? And the size of the line varies dependent on who is in the group per hour... so some are more popular than others. But it doesn't guarantee the person will be there.. it's "subject to change".
I'm going for the first time! I am soo excited for this trip because I get to take my mom and brother to the flee market and then to ITH!
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuAnother first-timer here...for the past few years I've been busy during the flea market, and this year I'm finally going to make it a point to check it out. I'll start saving up...
