Tyne Daly gave me a crystal at the flea market last year. She was pretty adamant about it. She placed it in my hand really firmly. Maybe I have the devil inside of me or something?
Tyne Daly is AMAZING!
Is it mostly musicals that have tables, or do plays have tables as well? This is going to be so much FUN
Most of it is Musicals but Plays have tables as well. It's a little bit of everything. There are a lot of booths where you can buy old Playbills and posters and other cool stuff.
I'm still waiting for the list....
When "Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune" was playing their table had beer bottles and milk cartons used props from the show signed by Edie Falco and Stanley Tucci for sale for $10.00.
Be prepared to wait for that list, it doesn't pop up until about two weeks before.
I'll be going this year. It's my first time living in the city, and my first time going. I'm pretty excited!
They've had the list up a tad earlier, just not as complete---that's why I'm antsy, lol!
Does Bernadette usually show up? I know she has in past years...
And how exactly does the photo booth work? Do you wait in line and can you request anyone from the celebrity table to join you in the photo booth and they just do it?
I'm not too clear on the whole photo booth thing.
I saw Bernadette at the tables last year later in the day. I'm not sure how the photo booth works either, but apparently you have to pay extra for a picture.

The photo booth is kind of confusing. It is $10 to get a picture with someone. And you kind of stand around the area and each hour they go around asking who everyone wants a picture with and do a tally. The people with the most tallies get asked to go to the picture booth, and then you pay the money to get a picture with them. Not everyone goes to the photo booth. Last year, I really wanted a picture with Paige Davis but she didn't have enough people who wanted her.
I have to go to a memorial service that night, but I am hoping to make it to the flea market during the day.
I'm hoping to go this year but I'm coming all the way from Toronto and I'll have school Monday morning so we'll have to wait and see...

You weren't alone ashley0139. I requested Paige Davis each of the last two years for the photo booth.
Hopefully if the Boeing Boeing rumors are true, she will make another appearance this year.
The photo booth made a lot more sense before Juniors took over that restaurant space. The booth was on 45th street near the parking garage where Juniors now has an outdoor cafe. It also eased a lot of the traffic in Shubert Alley.
If you want someone special, ane there aren't enough people who request a particular person, try offering $20.00 instead of $10.00. (That's how I got a pic with Jesse L Martin and Anthony Rapp together---though it was more than $20!)
It would free up Schubert Alley space if they moved the photo booth back where it was in 2005, but it is easier to control where it is now.
I wish they could move the booth back, but they cannot. There is a store front there now.
That's right---Junior's bakery!
I can't wait. I spend far too much money there but it's for a good cause.

Offering more money doesn't always work. I offered Josh Strickland a total of $50 to take off his shirt when I was photographed with him. He was just about to accept when he changed his mind and whispered something in my ear about "Disney".
Well, I can pretty much guess that Anthony Rapp won't be there this year...
BUMPITY BUMP!!!
Jonesing for the list....
