re: Flop CD's

I don't know if this flopped or not, but please check out the 1998 Off-Broadway Violet. It's deeply moving, changing, spiritual... with a beautiful score by Jeanine Tesori. I couldn't possibly say enough about this show. I saw a small local production of it over the summer and was blown away.

Last 5 Years. A great CD from a too-short-lived show.

re: Flop CD's

I just bought NEW YORK ROCK, which is a musical based on the songs of Yoko Ono and it is a fictional story mirroring the death of John Lennon. There are a lot of throw away songs, but the second half is actually pretty good.

If you're merely looking for flops, there's a show called Tintypes... I'm not certain it was a flop... but I hadn't heard of it till my crazy musical director decided to do it

re: Flop CD's

TANZ DER VAMPIRE was NOT a flop

DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES "was"

Tdv has a CD

DotV does not

----

No CD for the Flop Dance of the Vampires, therefore, 'exists'
