Posted: 8/24/04 at 9:15pmI don't know if this flopped or not, but please check out the 1998 Off-Broadway Violet. It's deeply moving, changing, spiritual... with a beautiful score by Jeanine Tesori. I couldn't possibly say enough about this show. I saw a small local production of it over the summer and was blown away.

Posted: 8/25/04 at 12:20amI just bought NEW YORK ROCK, which is a musical based on the songs of Yoko Ono and it is a fictional story mirroring the death of John Lennon. There are a lot of throw away songs, but the second half is actually pretty good.

TANZ DER VAMPIRE was NOT a flop
DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES "was"
Tdv has a CD
DotV does not
----
No CD for the Flop Dance of the Vampires, therefore, 'exists'
