They could use a lot of work on their singing. But that's just me. my schools shows are always cast on who has the better voice, and no so much dance skill.

Footloose was the first show I did in high school. I play Ren's mom. I wanted to play his girlfriends, but the director though I wasn't sexy enough. Darned if I didn't end up lip to lip with Reynoldo Lagos, the actor who played Ren...in real life. And the actress who played his girlfriend ended up with zip. Charlayne's revenge!

ILoveMyDictionary: it's the same with my school. We are "judged" based on singing, acting, and dancing (in that order). Because our dance department has so many people in it, we often just grab some of them, put them in costume, and give them the dance breaks.
