Great Idea. Thanks!
Most of my iPod is Broadway recordings. I usually am listening to DRS or Titanic.
I have a 30G black video iPod :).
My iPod is basically Broadway. I have a few things that aren't, but mostly it's CRs, albums by people that have been/are on Broadway, and concerts.
As for videos, I have a lot of SNL skits on it, Johnny & Kooks, and a lot of appearances the Jersey Boys have made.
I have tons of showtunes, but additionally the new Christina Aguilera, Roger Cicero, Anthony Warlow, Britney Spears (yeah, I know). Blondie, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, Green Day...Faith Hill, Best of Country and Disney...
Variety, I guess.

The Devil Wears Prada soundtrack
Moulin Rouge
Black Eyed Peas

one of Stephen Schwartz's CDs
some Audra (no iPod should be considered complete without some)
and of course, show tunes show tunes show tunes
I have an eccentric iPod...
The whole Prince, Joplin and Stevie Wonder catalogues?(Orfeh) That's gotta be 100 plus songs right off the bat. Sounds incredible. So far it seems that everyone who is *on* the Hair recording, has it on their iPOD too. It's really that good.
I have 799 songs on minw, but my top 25 is made up of everything from Ani Difranco, Missy Higgins, Les Miserable, Drowsy Chaperone, and Little Women...I would die without my iPod!
What's next, "Your Favorites Tell Us What's in Their Porno Drawer"?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Thank you, Riedel, that was... thrilling.
The fact taht Brian Stokes Mitchell has Jason Mraz on his iPod pretty much makes my life complete.

"it seems that everyone who is *on* the Hair recording, has it on their iPOD too. It's really that good."
Lol I noticed that. It is an awesome CD though!
EDIT: Oh yeah... my iPod... cause I like making lists:
Idina Menzel - Wild Party and most of the songs from her solo albums. I'm not ashamed to admit I think she's a brilliant lyricist. Eclectic, folksy, and fun.
Motown, Soul, R&B - LOTS of Aretha (It's Raining Men!), Stevie Wonder (Isn't She Lovely?), Ray Charles, Temptations, and of course Marvin Gaye Sexual Healing!
Also Shoshana Bean's renditions of I Believe in Love and Bless the Lord (WOW), Coronet Man (DOUBLE WOW), and Ain't No Way (HOLY ****)
A little Sinatra, a lot of Ella Fitzgerald (Cole Porter songbook, anyone?), and all the major Gershwin stuffs by various performers...
Bernadette at Carnegie (Sondheim, Etc.)
A little Phish, Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, old school Metallica, Sheena Easton, Nina Simone, Diana Krall, the Police, 5th Dimension, ELO...
And my fave songs from Hairspray, Rent, Funny Girl, Whorehouse, Damn Yankees...
That's not even going into Country or Opera. Wow, I'd better stop lol.
I don't have an iPod. I have a Creative MuVo. I have a lot of cast recordings on it but I mostly listen to Tommy or Bright Lights, Big City. I also have The Fray, James Blunt, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, The Who, Beatles, and Queen.

On my iPod...I have tons of showtunes, but lately I've been getting into the more "popular" music that is on the radio. I like Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado, Crazy by Gnarls Barkley, and Rompe by Daddy Yankee. I've been on this weird rap/hip hop kick too. Odd...but whatever. Then I've got Imogen Heap, The Ditty Bops (heard about them from Lauren Molina! YES!) a bunch of 80s and 90s music, Corinne Bailey Rae, and the OLD Green Day + Panic! At The Disco. Then of course, Simon and Garfunkel.
I love reading these! Makes me REALLLLYY want to get one Not that I didn't before this...
My birthday is coming up...

I love this! I hate that I miss so much when I am on vacation. Ok, small price to pay, though. Anyways, way fun to read! It definitely gives me some ideas for mine. Love Julia's list. Always, though. How weird would it be if you were just listening to your ipod and you came on?

I have over 9,000 songs on mine...cast recordings from every Broadway show I've seen (about 20 shows), plus a bunch of cast recordings of shows I've never seen. Every cd by U2, The Alarm, Dave Matthews Band, Dar Williams, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, tons of movie soundtracks, solo cd's from Broadway performers, plus a huge assortment of jazz, metal, classical, pop, rock, new age--pretty much, you name it, I have it.
Wow.
Technically speaking, if every download is a dollar, that's about 90000 dollars.
I hate U2. I HATE HATE HATE U2.
