For those who have purchased the OCR of The Little Mermaid...

I've been a long time lurker to the boards, and finally decided to join and post for the first time... :)

Anyways, I've been enjoying the OCR of The Little Mermaid recently. However one thing has been bothering me: on track 9 (Part of Your World Reprise). When Ariel/Sierra belts the last "part of your world" phrase, between the words "your" and "world" (around 1:45 of the song), on my CD, there's a short, but fairly jarring static/buzz sound. It seems a bit unusual and out of place to me, and it kind of ruins the best part of that song for me in a way.

Has anybody heard this too on their CD? If so, do you think it's actually meant to be part of the recording or do you think it's some sort of a recording/sound glitch? (I'm also wondering if only my CD is defective, etc.)

It's on mine, too. I think it's just a glitch, though hardly noticeable.

You know...I had never noticed it, but now it's going to bother me whenever I heard the reprise .

Oh well, it's not life threatening , Sierra is still on!

That moment is the moment of the show that gives me chills... has since clips came out on... you know what. So I blasted it in the car this morning and I heard it too! It made me a little upset!

Oh, wow... I was wondering if mine was just a bad recording or something. That's pretty annoying. You think this might be corrected in a later pressing or something?

Since it won't be released commercially until Feb 26th. I have mine on order at Amazon. I wonder if the there will be another version of it at that time. As I understand it, the one sold in the theater is a special prerelease version.

I dunno what it is. It might just be someone accidentally hitting the drum cymbals. But, I only hear it on my headphones. I don't hear it on my regular stereo speakers.

I had that too. It bugged me for a while. Then someone, who had no problem on there's, sent me the regular version.

It's really not that bad. I never even noticed it until BroadwayPhan pointed it out. It's barely a blip.

I never noticed that until I just went and listened to it. I really only hear it if I'm listening just for that part, and even then, it still really doesn't bother me.
