This is good news indeed! I bought a copy on Ebay of, I think, the second album, and laughed my head off at "Teeny Todd" (the little brother of Sweeney, spoofing the cheap sets in touring productions) and "Bring it Down" (It's too high, bring it down -- a set-up of "Bring Him Home"). I can't way to see this!

I loved forbidden broadway when I saw it last fall! I wonder who they will cast /if they will recast any of the originals from alive and kicking...I know Natalie charle ellis has moved on to les Mis; she was my favorite!

"and laughed my head off at "Teeny Todd" (the little brother of Sweeney, spoofing the cheap sets in touring productions)"
That segment had nothing to do with touring sets. It was spoofing the very scaled down revival that Susan Schulman directed at Circle in the Square in 1989.

I'm still laughing at the memory of Marcus Stevens' lampooning Matthew Broderick's dancing style in NICE WORK.
The last iteration of Forbidden Broadway was very well done and funny! Harvey Fierstein as a newsie!
So so so wish that Forbidden Broadway would come back to London for a spell. I love it. The cast albums are top notch too.
Damn, Forbidden Broadway. They forever ruined Les Mis for me. I can't see the real production without laughing out loud thinking about everyone getting dizzy on the turntable, and the child dummy strapped to the shoulders and flopping all over as they march back and forth.

Hard to top the opening to Rude Awakening, but I'm always up for a new installment of Forbidden Broadway.

The two favorite openings that I've seen are luckily both captured on recordings, "Parody Tonight" (which is on the Strikes Back recording), and the "Jolly Holiday with Rudy" from Cleans Up Its Act.

Namo took the words right out of my mouth
has anyone gone to see it since it started?
I saw it this evening. It is still alive and kicking as its title says. New numbers include spoofs of Matilda, Pippin, Aladdin, and an extremely hilarious one mocking Carrie Underwood and Audra McDonald.

Nothing on KINKY BOOTS yet? It's pictured on the ad.
I noticed that too about Kinky Boots. Perhaps they're testing different numbers in each show. I saw an Avenue Q puppet on the side that wasn't used.
Great spoof on Fran Drescher last night as well.
HAS CORINE SEEN THIS YET??!?! DID SHE HAVE TO PAY?!?!??!
I have it on very good authority that Corine has NOT seen the show yet. But not to worry she will not have to pay when she does see it.
Why is this about me? And no, I have not seen it yet. I think it best to give the two new cast members some time as it is a very demanding show. I don't want to see it for another month. Very excited about the new cast and I have loved every cast of Forbidden Broadway.
What do you mean, "Why is it about you?"
That's how you like it, darling. All. About. You.

Gosh, I'm disappointed you haven't seen it yet Corine.
Nope. I will wait. I have been very busy with sales and I have no energy. Exhausted.
Goodnight.
