Glossy Fosse is still Brooke Shields. Corinne, I wasn't surprised to see a Beauty skit since it's closing, but I figured they would change it a little bit. It's still exactly the same as before.
Thanks for the review! I was thinking of going to see this next week, most likely on Thursday night. Can anyone tell me if it's better to order tickets in advance, or are they usually available at the box office the day of? What about TKTS? Thanks!
I do hope that at least some of the Roast of Utopia songs will be recorded at some stage.

This one isn't new. They've been doing this one for awhile.
I'd say TKTS is the best bet for this show because I just saw it last week and there were 50% off tickets. BTW def go soon because its a limited run!
Fosse, it was different. The old one made fun of Julie Andrews, and there was a version that made fun of Mandy Patinkin. This one doesn't make fun of a person, it makes fun of the show itself. They changed the lyrics.

No, they didn't. I just saw this show on Tuesday and the Mary Poppins skit was exactly the same one I saw a few months ago before the show left for Chicago.
Fosse76 the one you are refering to could well be the same one as before they left. I think bjh2114 is referring to the two older version from years ago. The Julie Andrews spoof (stupidcarelessfictionalnonsensicalverbossness) and the Mandy Patinkin spoof.
Yup, thanks Seymour. Fosse, I realize that the skit was there a few days before it closed prior to the Chicago run, but they were just testing it out for a few days. I saw the second to last performance before it closed, and they had taken it out again. I was talking to Jared, one of the performers, and he was saying that it was just a test run, but it's still a new version with altered lyrics.
Saw it tonight. Bruce Sabath (whom I was sitting next to), Kelly Jeanne Grant, Leenya Rideout, Barbara Walsh, Rob Cunningham, Kristin Huffman, the understudy for Peter and Raul were all there too.
The highlights were definitely Company and SA. Raul was sitting across the aisle and behind me a row and seemed to really enjoy when they did "Being Intense"
Go see it!

I hope it's okay to ask in this thread...
I'm hoping to see this show this coming Sunday and I was wondering if they offer student rush? It's not listed on TalkinBroadway but I thought maybe it's just not advertised?

I don't think so but I used broadwaybox.com and the ticket was $32
I'll add my 2 cents: Don't. Miss. This. Too hysterical! The Company spoof alone is worth the price of admission. Matt castle from Company was there last night, and seemed to be enjoying it. The whole audience reacted very well to it, and I hope they keep it in despite the closing. The rewritten bits of the Les Mis spoofs were good as well. The Spring Awakening bit was spot on. The actor who does Melchior is a better Jonathan Groff than Jonathan Groff!
The overall highlight for me was Janet Dickinson. her Laura Bell Bundy, Christine Ebersole, Brooke Shields, Charlotte D'Amboise, Barabara Walsh, Christine Estabrook, and ever other character she played had me in stitches! She was seriously brilliant!
Tickets can be had for $30. There's no excuse not to go!
