Who remembers Langella's movie "Those Lips, Those Eyes"? Set in the theater world.

It's no big WHOOP. (In the dictionary)

Corine2 -- Fortune's Fool was two years ago. Take Me Out was last year. They didn't run during the same season, so they could both be your favorites.

Thanks Front Row. You are right.
And Fortune's Fool was my favorite play two years ago.
Take Me Out was my favorite last year.
I love Greenberg and Denis O'Hare stole the show in Take Me Out.
I also liked Violet Hour but it seems i am the only one who really enjoyed it.

I actually never thought of Frank Lagella as a GOD (or I guess anybody, for that matter). I wonder if Whoopi thought he was a GOD?

But, I DO agree that he is a great actor. I've seen him in several shows (but not the naked one).

I've always enjoyed his performances in movies (first noticed him in Dracula, those many years ago...), never have seen him in a stage production...yet...one day, I will get to NY to see a Broadway Show...

People actually thought he was sexy in "Diary of a Mad Housewife"? I'll have to pass that on to my mom, because she loved him in that. I thought he was a SNAKE!

One of my roommates in Utah had an extreme crush on Frank. She had a goal of seeing him in a live performance. I wonder if she ever has...

Anyhow, it used to crack up the rest of us because he was "older..."

I don''t really think of any celebrity or actor as a "god". Thats ridiculous. Even my beloved Barbra doesn't get that title.

People are not GODS. That's what makes them people. I cringe every time I see someone refer to an celebrity as a GOD. I try to imagine this whole religion based around the particular actor and praying to them for access to an eternally pleasant afterlife. It simply makes no sense to me. I'm not a Chenonite or into Menzelism. The idea of it just makes me laugh. I have favorite actors, of course, but I don't believe they are deities descended from the heavens.
