And when ever a teacher or sub came across a name they couldn't pronounce I would automatically say here.
LOL! I'm a teacher, and every year it's hilarious to get my class role. Every year, it gets harder and harder to 1)tell which ones are boys and girls....and 2) know how to pronounce the names.
I've got my list of names I will *never* name my child (because of little rascals I've had in the past). Brings back too many memories!

It was so close to having a personalized mini liscense plate. If they only had my name spelled right, I could have avoided years of trauma and angst. Meh.

My family used to call me boo boo, now that was a bad nickname.
Lately, they just refer to me as B or Big B. I don't mind those.

Yes, we were trying on the cool hats at the mall and posing for as many pictures as possible... as well as making videos of us doing model walks in them...
you know how cool us high school kids are!

betcha it wasn't worse them mine
my mom used to call me mimi when I was younger though, I liked that nickname haha.
