I won the Friday Forty lottery for this upcoming Sunday 04/15, I know on the website they state some of the best seats in the house can be given, has anyone gone yet/ where did you sit?

Thanks!

Row A dress circle. The seats are amazing. You're in for a treat. Enjoy the show.

Lottery winners have also been seated in the very front rows of the Orchestra in the outermost two seats of each row.

I won a week and a half ago for tickets to last week's show and we were sat in Dress Circle Row A on the side. I posted some pictures in the seating/pricing thread of the view (from the very last seat on the end, which is the most curved spot), and even those are good, as long as you're alright with leaning slightly forward/to the side. They also could possible be first row orchestra, which is obviously a great view.

You can see some pictures of the view from various seats on my instagram (same username as here) and I'm happy to answer any questions re: seating/views.

Also congratulations! I hope you love it.

Saw the show yesterday, it was amazing in my opinion.

The seats ended up being Orchestra Row N, towards the center of the theater. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Saw it yesterday too after winning the 40/40 lottery.

Seats were row AA center aisle. Amazing seats for an amazing show.

For the Friday forty, do you have to pay any fees on top of the $20 per part?

No, there are no fees.

I’m curious, does anyone think that when you pick up your tickets has any effect on where the seats are? They say you can pick the. Up any time on the day of the show, so if I show up righ when the box office opens do you think I will get better seats? Or do you think they are already assigned at that point?

If it’s like most lotteries I’m guessing they’re already printed and assigned when you go to pick them up. I don’t know if how soon you pay makes a difference though.

When I picked mine up they were in an envelope with my name on it. It might have to do with when you buy, but I don't think it matters when you pick them up.

Thanks! I’m going to enter the lottery for next week. I already have tickets for Wednesday but am guessing in the slim chance that I win that the lottery seats will be better than my current ones if Mezz row L and balcony row E, plus DH and I could sit together if we win. With my current tickets, I could hopefully find someone to replace me or sell try selling on here.

Of course, it is extremely unlikely I will win. Probably very lame of me to be figuring out all these scenarios. I guess I am just excited!

Does anyone know if winning once will exclude you from entering/winning in the future, or is it 100% random with no restrictions?

I'm testing the theory that you can't win more than one single show each week you enter, but that you can win again by entering every week. I have a list of people who, when I won the first time, said "oh, if you win again, you have to take me!". I did tell them to enter for themselves and take me instead, but my friends are too lazy to press a button once a week :P
