Going back to the topic of conversation that is relevant to my interests, I think...
Fortune
I just want make sure
The Woman in Black runs forever. And if someone ever invents TARDIS technology, I'll be first in line for it so I can improve the ladies' toilets. XD
New London
Basically, I'd make sure it's empty and suitably priced for any and every RSC production that wants to come into town. It's sadly not as awesome as the Roundhouse was when they did it up for the Histories, but it is at least a little more forgiving than the Novello's strict proscenium. Although now that
War Horse is going in, I might have to get another theatre on the side for the RSC until London decides it has had its fill of horse puppets.
Gielgud
It's not that I don't love Bill Bailey or G&S, but I'd want to protect this lovely theatre from having to do anything that isn't an awesome play. I'm sure a similar arrangement must be in place right now, but I would quietly let Rupert Goold know that I can have it available for anything he wants to do in there.
I think I have more opinions about productions than theatres themselves. I'd like new musicals to do better. I'd like new writers to get more chances. I'd like to see the occasional musical at the National! I've been an obsessive theatre-goer for nearly three years now, and there's only been one musical at the National in all that time. PIAZZA, DAMNIT!
