Front Row Orch Seating for Piano Lesson at Barrymore

I'm looking at the January 25th matinee and the first two rows of center orchestra are priced at $185.50, but on Friday and Saturday those same rows are premium-priced at $318. Usually when the first one or two rows are cheaper, I assume that the stage will be high and those are the neck-strain rows (like A Strange Loop at the Lyceum), but if the same seats go up by more than $100 on the weekend, I'm stumped as to the reason why they would be cheaper on weekdays. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks KJisgroovy! Is the stage high? My husband recently had surgery on his neck and I want to be sure he wouldn't have to watch the whole show looking up.

Prices are almost always higher on weekends especially versus a Wednesday matinee. This is not new. Saturday evening is a more desired time to attend Broadway theater than a weekday matinee, hence higher prices.

Shubert Alley Cat said: "I saw the show from the second row and it was great - I feel the front row experience would be similar. Other than a couple of occurences on the upper tier of the set you wouldn't miss anything. And not being able to clearly see those couple of things did not deter from my enjoyment or understanding of the show."

Would you please briefly describe (perhaps in a Spoiler box) what takes place at those times on the upper tier?
