Hello, all,
Just got on Telecharge for Fun Home, looks like it's in the round. (duh). Any recs for which section would be best for seats? (not going until August, so far seems to be good selection. 100s? 200s? 400s? Confused!

I refer you to the previews thread here where you'll find some feedback (if you have the patience to go through them all lol).
I've personally sat in the 200s (sides) which gives you a nice overview of the entire stage and if you're in the front row, will give you the added benefit of being fully immersed.
The stage reminds me of a tennis court or basketball court - think of how you would see things sitting at the "ends" vs "sides" and that's pretty much it.
This photo might be helpful too, though the stage looks far smaller from this perspective.

I also sat front row 200s mid row. Amazing. I'd go center 200s.

The tennis or basketball court analogy is a great seating guide for this production.

If you are sitting behind the two walls, do you end up missing things?

Two walls? Do you mean behind the orchestra and on the opposite end? The previews thread has lots of comments from those of us who were seated in either of those spaces.
I was in G102 behind the door which rises up periodically. I might have missed 3-5 minutes max when it partially blocked my view. Nothing that bothered me though.

I sat in this section as well. I was in E106. The "Gay Union" door kind of drove me nuts. Granted, it wasn't there much, but it bothered me. I get easily annoyed, I guess. I think the side sections have the best view. If I were to go back, I'd probably sit there.

Saw it Saturday 4/11 from Row D 220 side center seating (fantastic), I feel the sides warrant the best views for this show just like being at a tennis match but one never misses out as it has been expertly staged for all to enjoy and not miss a beat from any seat.

Just another quick question, is it better to sit in the Odd or Even seats of the 200 section for the show? :) Which would you all recommend?

Hoping somebody can respond fast as I am trying to book tickets tonight. I am looking for two tickets and currently thinking of either Row D or E aisle seats in the odds (both 101 and 103). Are those good seats and should I choose to sit in D or E? Any help appreciated!

We sat 101 and 103 A and didn't have problems seeing anything. A few times we had to lean a bit when the door was up or when characters were in the right side corner (e.g. Medium Al and Joan entering the house.) But it made up for it by being arms length from the actors in other great scenes like the piano duets and the cadaver scene.
Those seats sound fine. I would choose the closer row, but it wouldn't make much difference.

For those who've sat front row in the 200s (like Bettyboy), were there any moments that were obstructed due to props/furniture? It looks like the couch and chair are smack dab in the middle during some scenes, but I can't tell if they're tall enough to make a difference.

I sat in A213, and there was only one moment where I felt like I couldn't completely see everything because a chair was in front of me (it was during the sleeping bag scene). It wasn't a problem for even a minute, though. I still felt like it was a perfect seat.

I got A216 and A218 on the opposite side. I know the furniture moves all over throughout the show, so hopefully it won't be a problem.

I've seen the show four times in four different locations. If your view is ever obstructed it rarely lasts for very long.

I am coming to NYC in September and not missing Fun Home. What would you recommend of the following seats? We would love to get the $75 seats since it sounds like there isn't really a bad seat in the house. Do you miss a lot in those seats? Would the $119 seats be better?

I sat in G101 last Saturday, the "Gay Union" door which rises up and down was right in front of us. Slightly annoying. The lady sitting in F101 was really upset until the usher told her it sinks into the floor.
I would probably sit in the 200's if I had a chance to see it again.
