Fun place in NYC to watch Tony nominations announcement?

Ive been in NYC this weekend and will be here tomorrow morning while the tony nominees get announced. Does anyone here know of any public places that would be broadcasting the announcement that would be fun to go to in person?

Just a different experience than watching the broadcast online?

Also Ill have to leave for the airport around 10am. But any recommendations would be appreciated!

The nominations are announced about 8:30am ET. Too early for any public space to have a TV airing it. The announcements go by quickly so they're done in about 10 minutes. Just watch them like everyone else who is interested: on the live stream feed on the Facebook page of the Tony Awards.

The only awards that have national coverage are the Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, which are also announced at 8:30am ET.

Maybe the bar at Juniors? I think they have TVs there. Not sure if they turn the volume up though. I’m sure folks won’t gather around to watch but I would think if they have it on with volume up, people would be interested, giv3n its location to theaters

The announcement is at 8:30AM. There is no place that is "fun" that early in the morning.

8:30 AM EST is 5:30 AM in California. As much as I'm anxious to hear the nomination announcement, I'll be sleeping through this one

That being said, it'll be a good incentive to actually get up when my alarm goes off!

The Nominations Announcement takes place at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. There is no admission to the public.

This is from the Tony page - I have no other info.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

any of the rush/sro lines of sold out shows like To Kill a Mockingbird, Hadestown, etc. Just a thought.
