Since [title of show} is closing next week I was wondering what roles you would love to see Susan perform in the future (as well as originate a ton of roles).

Calliope In Xanadu. In any production since it is no longer on Broadway.

For some reason, I'd love to see her as the adult female in SA. Oh, and can anyone else see Heidi as Roxie in Chicago?

she could also rock the female authority figure in "hairspray."
my dream is to see her to the baker's wife in "into the woods" and not just because she quotes it twice in [title of show].

Female Athority figure in Hairspray and Caliope in Xanadu-i guess in the tours...or, I would like it more if she just replaced Sara Palin as the VP! Or all of her fans can get together and send in write-in votes for her to be president!
I would enjoy that!
I would pay to see her in any role. Between [tos] and Speech & Debate, I am completely sold on her talent.
Winnie or Sarah in the stage version of Hocus Pocus.
Penny's mom in Hairspray was my first thought. Love the idea of Baker's Wife too.
Wow. Never thought about the Adult Female in SA but I think she would do great as that. Baker's wife would be good, she can handle the emotions.
As for Heidi, originate a new role, take over in the future for SJB in Nine to Five. The woman has an amazing voice, it's hard to say right now with shows.

Avenue Q as Thistletwat and Bad Idea Bear
Drowsy Chaperone as... The Drowsy Chaperone
I agree on the adult woman part in SA
Also, how about Heidi as Lady of the Lake
susan would be a great madame morrible in wicked, or maybe mama morton in chicago
Drowsy Chaperone as... The Drowsy Chaperone

Hmmm...seems to be a trend of character parts, but since she can put forth with an expertly timed zinger at the drop of a hat, I'm not surprised.
And as much as I love Jackie Hoffman, she's a broader performer than Susan. Susan is all dry, acidic wit. If they ever decided to unearth "The Women" again, she'd be perfect in several roles.

Heidi = Lady of the Lake = theatrical orgasm
Agreed, she'd be great in The Women - how about a revival with Susan as Sylvia?

I could see her as:
Forbiden Broadway
Spring Awakening: Adult Woman
She is classically trained: Rose in Gypsy
Heidi I could see as:
Roxie Hart
Lady of the Lake
Danniella in the Heights
Ursla Little Mermaid

People tend to forget that Susan is a classically trained actor. I'd love to see her tackle something dramatic and dark. Not to say that the other roles people have suggested for her wouldn't work. She'd be amazing in those roles, I'm just interested to see her in a serious role.

Wendla in SA Perhaps?

I'd love to see Susan as Rose in Gypsy.
Seriously. She would be amazing.
^y'know, if it were like for a one-night engagement or something, I would actually go see that. Who wouldn't?!?!

Glad to see she's working- she was my server at Olive Garden last night and she did great. There was a small mix-up about the drink order, but she recovered nicely and did a fine job. I could see her at Chi-Chis or even at Red Lobster. She is classically trained.
She would be great as The Drowsy Chaperone. IDK if I can picture her as Rose though...
