While watching her Broadway Bares video & listening to Bitch/Slut/Liar/Whore from 'The Toxic Avenger' while it buffers I got the most amazing idea; Susan Blackwell as Nun/The Mayor/Mama Ferd!
And Heidi as Petra in the Night Music revival would just make me happy.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
She needs to do something where she can show off her comedic abilities and demand the stage like she does so well. I guess Violet would work.
"There's nothing good on. The media hates Christmas. The media loves vampires, though. Maybe they will show a Twilight Christmas." -Danmeg's 10 year old son.
I think she has the perfect dry wit, yet heartbreaking ability to be Charlotte in some production of Night Music; and her voice is passable so she could hold her own during "Every Day a Little Death"
"After she gets her personal life in order and only if she can really act - Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie "
Personal life?
I'm guessing this may be the kind of thing that can get a thread deleted so perhaps you could PM me if posting to this thread isn't an option?

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
I know she is trained in classical theater, so I would LOVE to see her play Lady Macbeth, she would also be pretty fantastic as the nurse in Romeo and Juliet.
I just really hope Susan and Heidi both have long careers in the theater. I agree Heidi would be a fierce Petra in Night Music.
"Into the Woods Revival with Broderick and Blackwell as the Bakers."
Please God, no. Please don't let Matthew Broderick anywhere near the Broadway stage again. I can't even think of a more bland, unappealing actor working in the theater today.
I love America. Just because I think gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all have hybrid cars doesn't mean I don't love America.

Frau Blücher in Young Frankenstein. Would be great if she played it in the tour. Apparently, Roger Bart is reprising his role of Dr. Frankenstein. And here I thought, he vowed never do another Mel Brookes show again. I guess everyone needs money.
