The UK tour of Chicago has added some new dates to the tour and will carry on touring the UK over the summer with GARY WILMOT taking over the role of Billy Flynn from Jimmy Osmond.

That would be the same Wilmot who was terrific in me and My Girl, very good in Half a Sixpence recently and a good Fagin. I think he can manage Flynn.

He will be a great Flynn.
He was amazing in both the West End 'Copacabana' and the West End and later, national tour of 'Me And My Girl'.
One of the UKs old fashioned song and dance men really.
Can be a pain to work with in close proximity tho!!!

Seen here in the West End production of 'Me And My Girl' with Jessica Martin. Ms Martin is currently wowing audiences who get to see her as the alternative Norma in 'Sunset Blvd at the Comedy.

I saw him in Chitty, and I thought he was just so...panto!
And I think he's only got an ok voice. He'll probably pull it off, let's be honest, its Chicago. Nobody cna ruin it completely, except my local drama college...they managed to completely kill it and they're doing RENT next. No, I am NOT going there, and no I am NOT seeing it. That's my rant on Cross Keys. Off-topic, but had to slip it in somewhere :)

Gary Wilmot is an absolute joy to work with. I learnt so much from him when touring and he is generous both on stage and off and a great company member.

He is a perfectionist and he shouldn't make any apologies for that!

If he was a nightmare to work with then perhaps the people he was working with made him that way!!
