I caught this on a whim last night through a steal on StubHub, and I loved it! Top notch performances by a starry cast, great dialogue, and a really nice set. If someone would have told me at the onset of this season that a Mamet play at the Palace would a) outsell a new Elton John musical in the same venue and b) fill the Palace stage better than said big splashy new musical, I would have laughed out loud, but here we are!

I treated my brother to third row for this last night and we had a great time. I loved being so close and that really elevated the whole thing for me .. i knew it would matter.
I was shocked when intermission came so quickly ... has any other show had such a short first act?

I caught this last night and am not sure what to think. Burr is shockingly great and Odenkirk steals every scene.
But Culkin’s character feels tone deaf and one note - he admitted in this week’s Variety interview he had never read it watched this production. It shows to me he did no homework and is just kinda channeling his own Roman Roy.
It is also is too truncated but that’s not this production’s issue.
I’d give it a solid b+, with Burr and Odenkirk raising it up from a C-
