Posted: 7/23/07 at 3:05pmListening to the cast recording today I got a little teary-eyed thinking about the fact that it's closing during the reprise of "Around the World". I feel so fortunate to have been able to see it mutliple times and will cherish it.

Seeing the show last Saturday, everyone who saw it with me agreed it's a shame that it's closing. And the fact that these two brilliant performances won't be recorded is a crime.

I'm seeing it this Friday, I could not be more excited. But it's awful that I'll be seeing one of the last performances of it.

I loved it. Went twice. I will be there in spirit but won't be there a third time. It is such a wonderful show. Especially the second act.

Why exactly did it close? Almost everyone I know absolutely adored it, and the others had no idea what it was, but off point.
I feel so bad for Ebersole. She so deserved a longer run, she's amazing in the show. I'm so sad I didn't get to see it. If anyone wants to take me, I am totally free. :)
I'd hate to be there closing night, though. If I were in it, I'd be sobbing through half my songs.
