The album cover looks awesome! I can't wait to get it on iTunes...
where you won't get the cover.
I-tunes and the like are a great fast way to hear the material as soon as it is released, but I have to have the Cd with the booklet.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks." Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
Yeah, it happens. But not often. And generally not with commercial productions, where you want the same logo on the CD, souvenir book, mug, keychain, T-shirt, hat, beach towel and isotoner slipper.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but not everything cast album wise has a digital booklet on iTunes. A Catered Affair doesn't come with one. Time Life's "Annie" came with one but "Ring of Fire" didn't. It's pretty hit and miss, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it didn't have one on iTunes (not that it matters to me, as I get the physical CDs.)
