When Pigs Fly! This is a musical, to the topic at hand, it's also a nice double entendre there at this point in the thread...

methinks Act4ever was making an Avenue Q reference, fear not.
Speaking of Avenue Q, there's
Avenue Q
Spamalot
All Shook Up
so I'm just secure in knowing I'm right
Statements like that make me laugh.
And when was JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR an "accurate" portrayal of Jesus, anyway? Unless you believe Jesus was a hippy who could hit ridiculously high notes.
I didn't see MY LIFE WITH ALBERINE anywhere on this thread yet. The musical hinted at Marcel Proust possibly being gay (although written for a woman onstage, Albertine was based upon a male lover of Proust's), and featured lesbianism. The character of Mlle. Lea (Emily Skinner) was a lesbian performer in a casino where lesbians frequented, and there were two other characters that were either gay or bi-sexual (played by Brooke Sunny Moriber and Caroline MacMahon). Also, the sexuality of Albertine (Kelli O'Hara) is called into question quite often. In the song "I Need Me A Girl", which she performs for laughs at the lesbian casino, she insinuates that she slept with a woman, and in "Sometimes", Mlle. Lea, Rosamonde, and Andree sing about sexual activities that they perform with Albertine. The original cast album is available.
Whoop Dee Do! pre-dates When Pigs Fly, written by (mostly) the same people and is far superior.
