How does it have the makings of a disaster? Don't really get it. Everyone expected WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN to do well and we all saw what a real disaster that turned out to be, so perhaps early buzz has little meaning.
Murphy is enough to make me want to see the show. Wasn't Leslie Kritzer supposed to be in this? Is she still involved?

^ No, Nicole Parker is playing the role Kritzer was rumored for.
I'm worried about the actual material. The writers aren't exactly theater writers.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
