I really don't know much about this piece, but I can't help feeling that this show will not do anything to help Roundabout's track record with non-transfers.

How does it have the makings of a disaster? Don't really get it. Everyone expected WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN to do well and we all saw what a real disaster that turned out to be, so perhaps early buzz has little meaning.
Murphy is enough to make me want to see the show. Wasn't Leslie Kritzer supposed to be in this? Is she still involved?

^ No, Nicole Parker is playing the role Kritzer was rumored for.

I'm worried about the actual material. The writers aren't exactly theater writers.

i hope this isn't read as snarky, as i am asking out of sheer curiosity: what about this show seems to spell disaster? i am neither familiar with the show nor the creative team, but the cast seems pretty exciting. what about the creative formula is a recipe for disaster?
