I thought it was weird that was announced considering that there hasn't been any announcement of such a project as well, madbrian.
I feel like Drowsy as a film could either be really fantastic or awful.

Posted: 9/13/10 at 10:33pmYeah, apparently all that's happened is basically the creators said to Geoffrey Rush while he was playing the role in Australia, "We're hoping to get a movie version going--would you like to star in it?" and Rush said "Sure, that would be fun." And that's as far as the train is going to go, most likely. I don't think studio executives are going to be falling all over themselves to make a movie version of a little-known Broadway musical.
